I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

8.1 General discussion
Automatic Partition Resource Manager (APRM) provides two facilities for
switching I/O hardware between partitions. These facilities are termed
manual
and
automatic, although these terms are not sufficiently descriptive. Both of
these facilities operate within rules that you set up to specify which hardware you
want to make switchable and, of course, within IBM rules as implemented by the
logical partitioning (LPAR) controller. These rules depend upon whether you use
iSeries or System i hardware because the LPAR control for iSeries hardware is
built into OS/400 and runs in the primary partition. The LPAR control for iSeries
