So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

It is the responsibility of APRM to determine which partition (if any) owns the
needed I/O hardware, to attempt to get that partition to release it (vary *OFF any
devices, controllers, or lines that use the I/O hardware), and to switch the
ownership of the I/O hardware to the requesting partition. Then, the Acquire
APRM Device (ACQAPRMDEV) support code, optionally, waits for the operating
system to recognize and initialize the hardware, and finally varies *ON the
