Once you submit a transaction, which, in our example, includes a new vehicle asset, then the transaction and underlying data is broadcast to all active nodes on the network. The broadcast is provided by the network layer, and uses the peer-to-peer protocol to broadcast the data to the connected nodes. A peer can also relay transactions to other sidechains, so each part of the world can have its own local blockchain network.
