It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Let's combine everything that we have learned so far and break down the flow of data and transactions in a blockchain. The technology (that is, the architecture, mechanisms, security, and so forth) behind the blockchain can be seen as the backbone for future accounting and an engine for a modern message transport system.
