It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Good reporting of business statistics is just as important as good technical analysis.
The truth is, the appropriate use of statistics is not about numbers, it is about
words – specifically, explanations, strategies and decisions. You should always strive
to discover the level of understanding and needs of your readers, and pitch the type
and level of reporting to them.
