PHP
の位置
PHP は Web サイトの構築に使われるプログラミング言語です。一般的に PHP プログラムは、個
人が自分のPC で実行してその人だけに使われるのではなく、Web サーバ上で実行されて、多く
の人がPC から Web ブラウザを使ってアクセスするものです。本節では、PHP が Web ブラウザと
Web サーバの間でのやり取りにいかに適しているか
について説明します。
自分 PC の前に座り、Safari やFirefox のようなブラウザを使って Web ページを閲覧すると、イ
ンターネットを介して自分のコンピュータと他のコンピュータの間にちょっとした通信が発生しま
す。この通信と、その通信でどのように画面上に Web ページが表示されるかを図 1-1に示します。
