It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

PHP Web サーバは、URL とファイルとのマッピングに面倒なことは何も行いません。ベース
ディレクトリ以下で URL に指定されたファイル名を探すだけです。URL でファイル名を省略する
と、「ファイルが見つかりません」というエラーを返す前に index.php と index.html を探します。
組み込み Web サーバは
、一度に 1 つのリクエストにしか対応しません。これは開発マシンでの
機能のテストや実験に最適です。設定が必要な大掛かりなApache や nginx をインストールするよ
りも稼働させるのがはるかに簡単ですが、機能をすべて備えているわけでもありません。コードを
本番環境にデプロイする時が来たら、一般的な用途でのスケーリングやセキュリティ要件に対応で
きる Web サーバを使ってください。
