There we have it: a Wiimote-controlled car. With the use of a Wiimote, a remote controlled car, a Phidget Interface Kit, and some soldering, we have a remote controlled car that can be controlled by a Nintendo Wii Remote.
But don't stop here. With a little effort, there are countless ways to improve upon what is in this chapter and make the project even more interesting. For instance, you could change the control scheme to detect motion forward or backward instead of using the 1 or 2 buttons. You could also add a wireless webcam to create a stealthy spy car.
In the next chapter, we will use the Wiimote to create an entirely different kind of control scheme.
