When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Other data formats
One of things that makes R great is the wealth of high-quality add-on packages. As you might expect, there are many of these add-on packages with the ability to import data in a multitude of other formats. Whether it's an arcane markup language, a proprietary binary file, Excel spreadsheet, and so on, there is almost certainly an R package out there for you to handle it. But how do you find them?
One way is to browse the community maintained CRAN Task Views (https://cran.r-project.org/web/views/). A Task View is a way to browse for packages related to a particular topic, domain, or special interest.
