Introduction
Hello, I’m Victor Titov, freelance illustrator and concept artist from Russia. In this article I will try to explain a little about the process and show you some of the techniques used during the creation of The Smith. With this image I wished to show a gnome blacksmith working on a new sword; probably deep in thought for a second, or simply observing how heated metal cools down. Aiming for a style similar to a traditional painting, it was interesting for me to create such an unusual atmosphere: ...
