TRIP TO THE SOUK

Introduction

Trip to the Souk was, in large part, inspired by my childhood memories; I spent a few years in Tobruk, Libya, as a child and I wanted to incorporate some of those memories into an image I was creating for a contest. Why the souk theme, you ask? Well, the task was to depict human-alien relations of some kind. I didn’t really want to create a battle scene, even though it was my initial idea for the contest brief; I wanted to do something a bit different.
