Introduction

I’ve always had a thing for vast sci-fi cityscapes and futuristic craft flying across imagined vistas, which I imagine comes from the great matte paintings I’ve seen in various films through the years. The recent matte paintings from the Star Wars films – Episodes 1–3 – are endlessly inspiring to me.
