ON THE PRECIPICE OF THE UNIVERSE

Introduction

The idea for this artwork was born when I was wandering through the open spaces of the internet, and casually stumbled across a very interesting photograph of two girls, taken by Olga Shelegeda (Fig.01a). Instinctively, I wanted to work a little on the composition of the photograph, and so, starting by twisting the photograph in Photoshop, I continued to paint over the image in search of my desired composition (Fig.01b).
