I’m sure many of you have tried blending images by dropping the opacity on an overlapping clip. It looks OK, but each clip gets a bit dim. Final Cut Pro offers a cool method to blend clips in a better way: These secret weapons are called composite modes. If you’re familiar with transfer modes in Adobe After Effects or Photoshop, then you should have no trouble with composite modes in Final Cut Pro; they behave in precisely the same way.
