What is required to participate in the ES-Community?
First, it is important to remember that only companies can officially become members of the ES-Community. Employees of member companies participate in the activities of the community on behalf of the member, but it is not possible for individuals to become members.
Each company is required to sign a membership agreement that includes a general NDA for the community process. The membership agreement also requires an annual fee to cover the operations of the community, and the creation and administration of the certification tests. Once the agreement is in place, employees of a company can be selected for participation in Definition Groups. A company may be a member of several Different Groups at once depending on its interests and capabilities.
