I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How is intellectual property (IP) treated in the ES-Community?
It is important to state at the outset that any interpretation of legal documents—such as the membership agreement of the ES-Community—must be handled by a member's legal staff. No book can be an authority on specific legal matters such as this.
Some high-level characteristics of the IP framework of the community are worth noting, however. Members of the community do not lose ownership of any of their IP by participating in the ES-Community. If a member chooses to participate in a Definition Group and provides input or feedback that includes any IP that they own, that IP is automatically licensed to SAP so that it can be included in the definition and utilized for the benefit of the community.
