Now that we have gone through a high level review of the different enterprise architecture (EA) layers, let us see how we can utilize them to build an IT roadmap, as can be seen in Figure 6.1. Our intent in providing a high-level formulation process overview is to provide you with an opportunity to pause and reflect on what you have seen in terms of business strategy before we next delve into the details of the IT roadmap formulation in Chapter 7.
