Hybrid

The hybrid approach involves using a small number of repositories. Each repository contains multiple services and projects. Each repository is isolated from the other repositories, but within each repo, multiple services and projects can be developed in lockstep. This approach balances the pros and cons of monorepo and multiple repos. It may be useful when there are clear organizational boundaries and often geographical boundaries. For example, if a company has multiple product lines that are completely independent, it may be a good idea to break each product line into its own monorepo.
