With Istio, Delinkcious can potentially shed a lot of extra baggage. So, why is it a good idea to move this functionality from Delinkcious services or Go kit middleware to Istio?

Well, the reason is that this functionality is often unrelated to the application domain. We invested a lot of work to carefully separate concerns and isolate the Delinkcious domain from the way they are deployed and managed.
