Very short games can be fun—there’s an entire genre of “coffee-break roguelikes” dedicated to making games you can play in under an hour. However, larger games tend to have better audience retention.
One way to increase the size of your game is to add additional levels. With more levels, you can step up the challenge of the game as the player progresses. You can also introduce more content—but be careful not to add too many levels. You don’t want to have more levels than you have game content because players quickly notice when levels feel like filler.
