12.20 Experimental Determination of Stefan's Constant

The principle of the method is as follows: The instrument consists of three essential parts (Fig. 12.13):

  1. A source of radiation (a black body) (FG).
  2. A screen with a shutter (CD).
  3. A receiver (AB).
