ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we present an effi cient solution to determine the best
sequence of G commands for a set of holes of a printed circuit board, in
order to minimize the manufacturing time by the optimization of the
travel path using Multi-Ant Parallel Colonies metaheuristic. Several
experiments that demonstrate how this proposal can help to outperform
solutions provided by commercial software are presented.
