Hyster-Yale uses a tool that allows them to track whether or not Key Decisions and high-priority Knowledge Gaps were closed on time.
Terry Snapp, Process Leader for Global Product Development, helped design the system configuration that allows them to keep track of progress. At the 2017 RLC Virtual Summit, he said, “Simple good charts show who needs help. If someone has a late Key Decision, I know to check in with that person. They also tell me which Key Decisions were closed late so that I can think through how that will impact the program.”
