I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Tutorial
If you have worked with or deployed honeypots before, you may want to skip the rest of this chapter and go on to Chapter 7. If you have never worked with or installed a honeypot before, you may want to consider going through this tutorial. The purpose of this section is to give individuals unfamiliar with honeypots some hands-on experience with the technologies. Once you have this experience, you will have a better understanding of the following chapters. We are presenting this tutorial now for two reasons. First, BOF is by far the easiest of honeypot solutions, so it is a great choice for a hands-on introduction. Second, the experience you gain with BOF now can be applied to almost all of the honeypots discussed in the later chapters. ...
