I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Value of Specter
Specter is a highly flexible solution supporting a variety of functions. As a result, it can play diverse roles for an organization. Like BOF, Specter is an excellent tool for detecting attacks or unauthorized activity. In fact, this is one of its primary roles: to function as an intrusion detection technology. However, due to its numerous options, Specter can also be used in the field of deception or deterrence, potentially preventing attacks. It can be designed to give a great deal of false information to an attacker, confusing or deceiving her. It can also be used to scare off attackers, deterring them from further attacks.
