Goggles
Coverslips
Glycerol
Slides, flat
Materials you Provide
Gloves
Camera with microscope adapter (optional)
Collection containers (small plastic bags, etc.)
Immersion oil (with 1000X microscope only)
Microscope (ideally 1000X)
Toothpicks, plastic
Specimens, pollen (see text)
Warning
None of the materials used in this lab session present any serious hazard. However, it is good practice to wear splash goggles and gloves when collecting and handling specimens.
