In this chapter, you learned about the fundamentals of IIS 7.0 Web sites. You also reviewed the basic tasks for using the IIS Manager tool and the AppCmd command line tool to create and manage Web sites. You can learn more about using each tool to perform key administrative tasks in Chapter 6, and Chapter 7.
You also learned how to use virtual directories to control the physical structure of a Web site’s content and enable a Web site to use content from a remote share.
