The most recent version of File Manager contains several product updates.
The latest Program Temporary Fix (PTF) for File Manager for z/OS, and OS/390
V3R1M0 is UQ70317 for MVS, UQ70318 for DB2 and UQ70319 for IMS.
Version 3 for MVS feature brings performance improvement in many functions,
such as template-based record selection. It also includes:
New compare utility using templates
An extension of the find command syntax in the find/change utility
A new sort command for edit and browse
The support of COBOL and PL/I copybooks held in Panvalet libraries
An enhanced VTOC utility
An improved QSAM data sets allocation for on line utilities
