It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Chapter 5. How to compile old COBOL
Debug Tool Utilities and Advanced Functions comes with a tool that enables you
to compile an older COBOL program, such as a program written for the OS/VS
COBOL compiler (68/74 Standard COBOL) or a program written for the VS
COBOL II (or later) compiler that was last compiled with the CMPR2 compiler
option (74/85 Standard). This tool is activated under the convert and compile
option, which combines COBOL source conversion using COBOL and CICS
Command Level Conversion Aid (CCCA) with compilation.
