8.1 Overview
We start with a short overview of the uses of WSim, briefly discuss the WSim
installation process, describe the types of resources WSim can simulate, and
discuss how to plan, prepare, and run different types of tests.
8.1.1 General process
To use WSim, two types of information must be prepared:
򐂰 Network definition statements describing the configuration of the network
being simulated.
򐂰 Message generation decks that send and receive messages.
