It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

After completing your study of routing protocols, you now can learn how to provide differentiated levels of service within the network. Routing and differentiated service can be intimately linked—indeed, some routing protocols provide mechanisms for making different routing decisions based on the desired quality of service (QoS).
