When naming indexes, much the same as naming other database objects, it's important to name them so that they are descriptive enough that you can easily see what they are indexing.
As we can see from the keys that we created for the managers table, they tend to get default names. We changed the ones that needed more descriptive naming. The PRIMARY key naming isn't changeable in MySQL.
When adding an index, you should name it so that you can tell what kind of index it is and what columns are in the index.
