A full outer join includes all rows from both the left and right tables. The Venn diagram depicted in the following screenshot shows in gray the rows that would be returned with two tables:

Rows returned from Table A that don't have any matching rows in Table B will show null values for the columns in Table B. Rows returned from Table B that don't have any matching rows in Table A will show null values for the columns in Table A.
