I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Checking the status of MySQL Server on Mac
This section provides information on how to check the status of MySQL Server. This is not a required step in the installation process, but this section provides you with details in case you need to troubleshoot your MySQL Server:
- Open System Preferences.
- Click MySQL. By doing this, you can view the status and configuration options available to you.
The following screenshot shows the status of MySQL Server. It indicates that MySQL Server is running. If this showed a message stating that MySQL Server wasn't running, you would click the Start MySQL Server button, which would be in place instead of the Stop MySQL Server button.
