I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Connecting to your local instance
In MySQL Workbench, click on your local instance of MySQL to connect to it. Yours may be named differently than mine, but it will have a connection to the localhost configured in it:
Enter your password and choose Save password in vault.
If you have no local connection set up, then don't worry – instructions on how to create new MySQL connections have been included in the next section.
