So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understanding numeric data types
Numeric data types can hold integers, which include positive and negative whole numbers. Numeric data types can also contain fixed-point and floating-point numbers, which store fractions of whole numbers. This section walks you through the different numeric data types in MySQL.
