So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Learning how to delete a temporary table
In order to delete a temporary table, you can execute the following query:
USE lahmansbaseballdb; DROP TEMPORARY TABLE tempplayerinfo;
This will delete the temporary table. Then, you can recreate it with different specifications. Also, if you close your session, your temporary table will be automatically deleted.
