Part V addresses how to communicate the output of your research to interested audiences. As these audiences may vary, we look at three specific types of research reporting: an academic report being submitted for assessment as part of an academic qualification, writing an academic paper for a journal, and a report for a practitioner audience. We provide guidance on the structure and content for each and identify the typical differences between them. This is supported by advice and tips on the process of writing and editing. We conclude the chapter with a look at alternative ways of communicating your results including via digital channels.
