It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Aufgabe
Beim Druck großer Listen im Querformat ist es recht schwierig, die einzelnen Zeilen auseinander zu halten. Ohne Lineal hat man schnell einen falschen Wert abgelesen. Natürlich bietet auch hier der Zubehörhandel eine Lösung an: Papier mit vorgedruckten Zeilen. Die Sache hat allerdings einen Haken, wer möchte schon wegen zwei oder drei Blättern extra den Drucker neu einrichten?
Lösung (Access ab 2007)
Seit Access 2007 ist es recht einfach geworden, alternierende Zeile andersfarbig zu hinterlegen. Wählen Sie im Report einfach den Detailbereich aus und setzen Sie die Eigenschaft Alternative Hintergrundfarbe (AlternateBackColor) auf den gewünschten Wert:
