In this chapter, we covered Object Designer navigation, along with navigation of the individual Designers (Table, Page, Report, and so on). We covered a number of C/AL language areas including functions and how they may be used, variables of various types (both development and system), basic C/AL syntax, expressions, and operators. Some of the essential C/AL functions that we covered included user dialogs, SETRANGE filtering, GET, variations of FIND, BEGIN-END for code structures, plus IF-THEN for basic process flow control.
