So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter discussed how MPLS VPN technology can help you design sophisticated networks without deploying the full MPLS VPN functionality. You can use multiple routing tables in a single CE router to separate multiple co-located VPNs without deploying an on-site PE router.
These routing tables behave almost as independent routers and have to be linked with a PE router through independent physical or logical interfaces. The independent logical interfaces are simplest to create on physical media that support subinterfaces (Frame Relay, ATM, or switched Ethernet).
