Hierarchical VPNs: Carrier's Carrier MPLS VPNs
In some cases, the customer of the Carrier MPLS VPN backbone network might also want to provide MPLS VPN services to its own customers. This type of connectivity is referred to as hierarchical VPNs, with multiple levels of VPNv4 label allocation.
Figure 6-10 shows that InterCom is now providing MPLS VPN services to GamesNet and SoccerOnline, and they have connectivity within their own extranet.
