In this chapter we change gears to practical analysis. We have now seen an introduction to general areas of interest for multimodality in Chapter 1, overviews of approaches and methods in Chapters 2, 5 and 6 and basic theoretical foundations in Chapters 3 and 4. Now it is time to see how to apply theory and method in the service of analysing diverse examples of multimodality in action.
