So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Starting Services
Of all the things you could do to help resolve an issue, sometimes it is just as simple as stopping and starting the servers. You should refer to “Starting and Stopping EPM System Products” in the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Installation and Configuration Guide. This will give you the details that are specific to your version of HFM.
Unfortunately, it is not as easy as flipping a switch. There are some things you need to know when starting and stopping your application services. The first thing is that the main Windows processes of an HFM application server are HsxService.exe, HsxServer.exe, CASSecurity.exe, and HsvDatasource.exe.
