The definition and deployment of a security program involves several use-case-specific variables and challenges; hence, the security program needs to be custom-built, to optimize investment and to get the most value out of it. Risk management and risk-based prioritization are key to right-sizing resources and security expenditures, and also to prioritize the most critical vulnerabilities. This case study demonstrates how these important facets were dealt with in a real-world industrial use case.
