I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Case study 3 – Amazon AWS IoT
Amazon AWS IoT is a PaaS cloud service designed for both consumer and industrial IoT applications (AWS-IOT). The platform uses serverless microservice architecture and a message broker for device communication and monitoring at scale. The message broker supports MQTT over TLS and MQTT over WebSockets in publish-subscribe mode and HTTPS in secured publish mode. Devices and applications mutually authenticate with the AWS IoT Core cloud service. X.509 certificates and private/public key pairs are used for IoT device identity. For application layer access, HTTP, or WebSockets IAM users, groups and roles are used. Amazon Cognito identities are used to control API access:
