We have seen how to use a USB device to authenticate user login. Apart from this, we can also use the USB device to trigger an event, every time it is disconnected or connected from/to the system.
Let modify the XML code in /etc/pamusb.conf to add event code for the user definition:

Due to the preceding modification, whenever the user disconnects the USB device, the screen will get locked. Similarly, when the user again connects the USB device, the screen will get unlocked.
