It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In this chapter you developed a good understanding of how Visual Studio can help you to quickly design the layout of Windows Forms applications. The various controls and their properties enable you to quickly and easily create complex layouts that can respond to user interaction in many ways. In later chapters you will learn about the specifics of designing the user interfaces for other application platforms, including Office Add-Ins, Web, and WPF applications.
