We have been looking at the risks of the heart weakening due to stress and pressure in our daily lives. We need the power to overcome this weakening, regardless of the situation.Why? If you lose motivation and give up in the middle of your career, you won't be able to feel satisfaction from your job or from fulfilling your purpose in life.
This is where resilience comes in. Resilience is the emotional and mental strength needed to deal with any adversity, problem, or stressful situation you may face. It is the strength to pick yourself back up.
For almost 40 years, there has been ongoing research in the training of resilience, mostly centered around global corporations. Over 2000 schools in the United States have also introduced resilience in the classroom to teach children about mental strength.
The work started globally has also reached Japan, where there has been an increase in companies and schools training employees’ and students’ resilience. Local media have fostered interest in this topic, leading to the advances seen today.
