So far in this part of the book I have discussed a number of aspects of what I see as the fundamentals of reward strategy. I now turn to how you get started. The issues covered apply to reward as a whole. You may wish to come back to this chapter after having gone through Part Two, which looks at each of the elements of reward in some detail.
